  CSE-426 Advanced Communication Systems  (3+0)

This course aims at providing the senior-level undergraduate BICSE/BEE students an introduction to the theory and practical know-how about the Advanced Communication Systems such as Cellular Mobile and Satellite Communications. The basic and under-lying technical concepts, which are essential for the design, implementation, and research in the Radio Communication Systems, will be presented while discussing practical examples and solutions to some real-world problems. On successful completion of this course, the students will be able to understand Radio Wave Propagation and Propagation Models, Fading Channel and Types of Fading, Modulation Techniques used in Wireless Communications, Access Techniques for Wireless Communications, Radio Link Models and Link Budget Analysis. They will be able to apply these concepts for Satellite Communication  System and Cellular Mobile Communication System Design.
